Are you templed-out, love coffee and chocolates, or have a sweet tooth? This foodie tour is for you! We begin with a stroll through the Kyoto Botanical Gardens, followed by  brunch (we recommend the pasta) then pastries at some of Kyoto’s favorite cafes in ritzy Kitayama. We then explore the Imperial Palace grounds, followed by coffee overlooking the Kamo river. The Kamogawa banks are Kyoto’s favorite urban getaway.

We continue our relaxing stroll along the riverside park, with stops to feed the ducks (duck food provided), before crossing over to our final destination, a tasting of gourmet chocolates and Uji tea at a hidden chocolate shop. After this tour you’ll understand why Kyoto is called the Paris of the East! Recommended for foodies, coffee and chocolate lovers, families, and as a break day between our more temple-heavy tours.
