Are you a morning person? The early morning is the best time to walk around Kyoto if you like peace and quiet. Our Ohayo Walks (ohayo means ‘good morning) are built around the few attractions that open before 9:00 a.m., giving you the chance to see and take pictures of these places before the tourist herds arrive. Join us for a picnic breakfast beside the serene Kamo River, feed the ducks, and indulge in shinrinyoku, ‘forest-bathing,’ the Japanese restorative of immersing yourself in the calming atmosphere of the woods. All Ohayo Walks are half-day tours, which you can extend to a full day for a small additional fee.
