Great Art of Kyoto

Do you love Japanese art? Our Great Art of Kyoto tour takes you to see some of Kyoto’s best examples of traditional painting, sculpture and ceramics! We begin with a visit to the Sanjusangendo to see its impressive architecture (longest wooden building in Japan) and 1,000 Kannnon statues, admire the painted screens by Hasegawa Tohaku, then to the Kyoto National Museum. After lunch we’ll head to Kenninji to view the dragons painted on its ceiling, and end with a visit to ceramic gallery that can only be visited by arrangement. Recommended for art lovers and those interested in the history and art history of Japan.
